AVON LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES FOR TUESDAY, MAY 27, 2014

1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Carroll called the meeting to order at 5:10 pm. A roll call was taken and Council members present
were Jennie Fancher, Chris Evans, Buz Reynolds, Todd Goulding, Dave Dantas and Jake Wolf. Also present
were Town Manager Virginia Egger, Town Attorney Eric Heil, and Town Clerk Debbie Hoppe, Planning
Manager Matt Pielsticker, Director of Economic Initiatives Susan Fairweather, as well as members from the
public.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
There were no changes to the agenda.

4. PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL EVENTS PERMIT
4.1. Applicant Name: Vail Valley Charitable Fund
Event Name: Reds, Whites & Brews
Event Dates: June 28, 2014;1 pm until 7 pm
Location: Nottingham Lake Field East
Event Manager: Maren Cerimele
The application was presented with no concerns for the renewal application. Board member Wolf moved to
approve the Special Events Permit for Vail Valley Charitable Fund for the Reds, Whites, & Brews Event; and
Board member Evans seconded the motion and it passed 6 -o, with Board member Reynolds abstaining due
to his late arrival.
4.2. Applicant Name: Eagle Valley Humane Society
Event Name: Salute to U.S.A
Event Dates: July 3, 2014; 3 pm until 10:30 pm
Location: Nottingham Park & Pier
Event Manager: Char Quinn
The application was presented with no concerns for the renewal application. Board member Wolf moved to
approve the Special Events Permit for Eagle Valley Humane Society for the Salute to U.S.A. Event; and Board
member Reynolds seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

Event Name: Traditional Irish Music
Event Dates: July 27, 2014; 6 pm until 8 pm

Events; and Board member Goulding seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
5. MINUTES FROM MAY 13, 2014
Board member Evans moved to approve the minutes from May 13, 2014; Board member Goulding seconded
the motion and it passed unanimously by those present. (Board members Dantas and Wolf abstained
due to absence at that meeting).
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 5:15 pm.
