AVON LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2014

1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Pro Tern Goulding called the meeting to order at 3 :35 pm. A roll call was taken and Board members
present were Dave Dantas, Jennie Fancher, Chris Evans, Buz Reynolds and Jake Wolf. Also present were
Town Manager Virginia Egger, Town Attorney Eric Heil, Town Clerk Debbie Hoppe, as well as other staff
members and the public. Mayor Carroll was absent.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
There were no changes to the agenda.

4. RENEWAL OF LIQUOR LICENSES
4.1. Applicant Name: East West Resort LLC & Avon Riverfront LLC d /b /a Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa
& Maya
Address: 126 Riverfront Lane
Manager: Jeffery Burrell
Type of License: Resort Complex License
The application was presented with no concerns for the renewal application. Board member Fancher moved
to approve the resort complex license for East West Resort LLC & Avon Riverfront LLC d /b /a Westin
Riverfront Resort & Spa & Maya; and Board member Wolf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously
by all present.
4.2. Applicant Name: Benchmark Liquors, Inc. d /b /a Beaver Liquors
Address: 110 E. Beaver Creek Blvd
Manager: David Courtney
Type of License: Retail Liquor Store
The application was presented with no concerns for the renewal application. Board member Wolf moved to
approve the retail liquor store license for Benchmark Liquors, Inc. d /b /a Beaver Liquors; Board member
Evans seconded the motion and it passed unanimously by all present.
5. REPORT OF CHANGES
5.1. Applicant Name: East West Resort LLC & Avon Riverfront LLC d /b /a Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

Previous Manager: John Evans
New Manager: Jeffery Burrell

5.2. The application was presented with no concerns for the report of changes new manager. Jeffrey
Burrell was present. Board Member Evans moved to approve the report of change new manager
for East West Resort LLC & Avon Riverfront LLC d /b /a Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa & Maya; Board
member Wolf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously by all present.

6. MINUTES FROM APRIL 8, 2014
Board member Dantas moved to approve the minutes from April 8, 2014; Board member Evans seconded the
motion and it passed unanimously by all present.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 3:45 pm.
