AVON LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 2014

1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Carroll called the meeting to order at 5.45 pm. A roll call was taken and Board members present were
Dave Dantas, Jennie Fancher, Todd Goulding, Buz Reynolds and Jake Wolf. Also present were Town
Manager Virginia Egger, Town Attorney Eric Heil, ActingTown Clerk Debbie Hoppe, Police Chief Bob Ticer, as
well as other staff members and the public.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
There were no changes to the agenda.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT
4. PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL EVENTS PERMIT
4.1. Applicant Name: Beaver Creek Resort Company
Event Name: Beaver Creek Rodeo Series
Event Dates: June 26, July 3, July 10, July 17, July 31, August 7, August 14, 2014; 4 pm until 10 pm
Location: Traer Creek Lot 1
Event Manager: Anna Robinson
The application was presented with no cocerns for the special events permit. Board member Wolf moved to
approve the special event license for Beaver Creek Resort Company; and Board member Reynolds seconded
the motion and it passed unanimously.
5. RENEWAL OF LIQUOR LICENSES
5.1. Applicant Name: Montana's Cantina & Grill LLC d /b /a Montana's Cantina & Grill
Address: 82 E. Beaver Creek Blvd.
Manager: Tom Beaver
Type of License: Hotel and Restaurant License
The application was presented with comments from Chief Ticer and Manager Tom Beaver. Board member
Dantas moved to approve the hotel and restaurant license for Montana's Contina & Grill LLC d /b /a Montana's
Cantina & Grill; and Board member Wolf seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
5.2. Applicant Name: Walmart Stores Inc. d /b /a Walmart #1199
Address: 171 Yoder Avenue
Manager: Samuel Pothier
Type of License: 3.2% Beer Off Premises
The application was presented with no concerns for the renewal application. Board member Fancher moved
to approve the 3.2% Beer Off Premises liquor store license for Walmart Stores Inc. d /b /a Walmart #1199;
Board member Goulding seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

6. REPORT OF CHANGES
6.1. Applicant Name: Walmart Stores Inc. d /b /a Walmart #1199
Address: 171 Yoder Ave
Previous Manager: Jeremy Rank
New Manager: Samuel Pothier
Type of License: 3.2% Beer Off Premises
The application was presented with no concerns for the report of changes new manager. Samuel Pothier
was present with comments. Board Member Fancher moved to approve the report of change new manager
for Walmart Stores Inc. d /b /a Walmart #1199; Board member Goulding seconded the motion and it passed
unanimously.
7. MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 11, 2014
Board member Evans moved to approve the minutes from February 11, 2014; Board member Dantas
seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 6 pm.
