A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT, EAGLE RIVER AT AVON, A
RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 1 AND 2, EXEMPTION PLAT, RED HOUSE, SECTION 12,
TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 82 WEST OF SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDAIAN,
TOWN OF AVON, EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, The Vail Corporation, A Colorado Company d /b /a Vail Resorts, Inc. submitted a
Final Plat for Eagle River at Avon, A Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2, Exemption Plat, Red
House, Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 82 West of Sixth Principal Meridian, Town of
Avon, Eagle County, Colorado, located at 38359 US HWY 6; and
WHEREAS, the Final Plat has been reviewed by the Town Staff; and
WHEREAS, the Final Plat was found to be in conformance with all applicable sections of Title
16, Subdivision, of the Avon Municipal Code; and
/ WHEREAS, the proposed resubdivision complies with the requirements for consideration as a
Final Plat.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF AVON, that the Final Plat, Eagle River at Avon, A Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2,
Exemption Plat, Red House, Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 82 West of Sixth Principal
Meridian, Town of Avon, Eagle County, Colorado, is hereby approved by the Town of Avon
subject to the completion of technical corrections as identified by Town Staff.

Summary: The applicant, Pylman and Associates, Inc, has submitted the Final Plat, Eagle River at
Avon, A Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2, Exemption Plat, Red House, Section 12, Township 5 South,
Range 82 West of Sixth Principal Meridian, Town of Avon, Eagle County, Colorado, located at
38359 US HWY'6 for the owner, The Vail Corporation, A Colorado Company d/b /a, Vail Resorts,
Inc. This Final Plat resubdivides the existing Exemption Plat into Lot 1, Tract A, and required
easements. The Final Plat also vacates Parcel PE -04, an easement agreement with the Town of
Avon for River Improvements. The Final Plat is in conformance with Title 16 of the Avon Municipal
Code, Subdivisions. Resolution 09 -29 is attached as Exhibit A, and a copy of the Final Plat is
attached as Exhibit B.
Previous Council Action: Town Council approved Ordinance 09-07, Red House Property Planned
Unit Development and Development Standards; Approving a Preliminary Subdivision Plan; and
Approving an Annexation and Development Agreement in June of 2009.
Recommendation: Based on provisions of Chapter 16.24.30 and other applicable sections of Title
16, Avon Municipal Code, staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 09-29, Series of 2009, A
Resolution Approving the Final Plat, Eagle River at Avon, A Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2,
Exemption Plat, Red House, Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 82 West of Sixth Principal
Meridian, Town of Avon, Eagle County, Colorado, subject to completion of technical corrections
identified by staff.
Proposed Motion: I move to approve Resolution No. 09 -29, Series of 2009, A Resolution
Approving the Final Plat, Eagle River at Avon, A Resubdivision of Lots 1 and 2, Exemption Plat, Red
House, Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 82 West of Sixth Principal Meridian, Town of Avon,
Eagle County, Colorado, subject to completion of technical corrections identified by staff.
