A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, EXEMPTING
DESIGNATED AREAS FROM THE OFF-STREET PARKING REQUIREMENT OF
CHAPTER 17.24.
WHEREAS § 17.24.020(D) of the Avon Code provides that the Town Council may .
exempt designated areas from the off-street parking requirement of Chapter 17.24 if
alternative means will meet the off-street parking needs of all users in the exempted area, and
WHEREAS the Council finds that exempting the following designated areas from the
off-street parking requirements is in the interest of those areas as well as in the interest of the
Town at large,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE.IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN, COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO:
Section 1. In accordance with and pursuant to § 17.24.020(D) of the Avon Code, the
following zoning districts, as defined in Chapter 17.16 of the Code, and as shown oil the
official zoning map of the Town of Avon (as amended), are hereby exempted from the off- .
street parking requirements of Chapter 17.24 of the Code: Planned Unit Development
containing any commercial use (PUD); Town Center (TC); Shopping Center (SC);
Neighborhood Commercial (NC); and Residential High Density and Commercial (RHDC).
