SERIES OF 1999
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, APPROVING THE MILLER
RANCH - BERRY CREEK INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF
THE TOWN OF AVON.
WHEREAS the Town of Avon is a party to the Eagle County Recreation Authority,
and;
WHEREAS the Eagle County Recreation Authority and the Eagle County School
District RE-50J wish to enter into an intergovernmental agreement to be known as the Miller
Ranch - Berry Creek Intergovernmental Agreement (a copy of which is attached), and;
WHEREAS the Miller Ranch - Berry Creek Intergovernmental Agreement has been
approved by the Board of Directors of the Eagle County Recreation Authority; and
WHEREAS the Eagle County Recreation Authority has requested that each member
entity, including the Town of Avon, approve of the Miller Ranch - Berry Creek
Intergovernmental Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO:
Section 1. The Town of Avon hereby approves the Miller Ranch - Berry Creek
Intergovernmental Agreement.
Section 2. The Town of Avon Council hereby authorizes the Mayor to execute the
Miller Ranch - Berry Creek Intergovernmental Agreement on behalf of the Town of Avon.
