A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE APPRECIATION OF THE TOWN
COUNCIL FOR THE SERVICES OF GEORGE R. McRORY AS DIRECTOR
OF THE AVON METROPOLITAN DISTRICT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AVON,
COLORADO:
WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Avon Metropolitan
District held the 4 h day of February, 1998, it was resolved that proceedings be initiated to
dissolve the Avon Metropolitan District; and
WHEREAS, George McRory, has served as secretary and a member of the Board
of Directors of the District with diligence and loyalty and has made significant and
lasting contributions to the Town in that capacity; and
WHEREAS, George's contributions as a board member will be missed by this
council and the residents of the Town of Avon;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Avon, Colorado:
1. The thanks of the Town Council and residents of the Town of Avon for his
service to the Town are hereby expressed to the said George R. McRory.
2. This Resolution shall be spread at large in the minutes of this meeting, and a
certified copy thereof shall be delivered to the said George R. McRory.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Avon the
24th day of February, 1998.
