RESOLUTION NO. 97-43
SERIES OF 1997
A RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF DAVID GILMAN
WHEREAS, DAVID GILMAN subscribed to the oath of the
office of Council Member of the Town of Avon on November 12,
1996; and
WHEREAS, DAVID GILMAN has abided by his oath and has
served the Town well; and
WHEREAS, DAVID GILMAN resigned his office effective the
12th day of August, 1997; and
WHEREAS, DAVID GILMAN'S presence and contributions to
the Council will be missed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, as follows:
1. The sincere thanks of the Council and the
residents of the Town of Avon are extended to DAVID GILMAN
for his service to the Town of Avon.
2. This Resolution shall be spread at large in the
minutes of the meeting and a certified copy shall be
delivered to the said DAVID GILMAN.
ADOPTED this 12th day of August, 1997.
