A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AVON ROAD
ROUNDABOUTS PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon finds and
determines that the public interest and necessity require that
highway improvements, including roundabout intersections, be
constructed on private property adjacent to Avon Road from the
Interstate 70 interchange to the intersection of Avon Road and
U.S. Highway 6 ("the Project"); and
WHEREAS, agreement has not been reached with the owners
of such private property as to compensation for acquisition of
the rights-of-way and permanent and temporary easements necessary
for completion of the Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of
the Town of Avon as follows:
1. The filing of such petitions in condemnation as are
necessary to the acquisition of the permanent and temporary
easements necessary for the completion of the Project is hereby
authorized.
2. All action heretofore taken by the agents of the
Town in implementation of this resolution is hereby ratified and
confirmed.
