No. 1996-15TOWN OF AVON AMENDED RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 15 A RESOLUTION FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE OF A PETITION FOR ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF AVON OF TWO PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED IN THE NW 1/4 SE 1/4 OF SECTION 121 TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 82,WEST OF THE 6TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO, DESCRIBED ON EXHIBITS "A," AND "B" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AND SETTING A HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, two petitions for annexation to the Town of Avon of certain parcels of real property, being parcels of land, located in Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 82 West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Eagle County, Colorado, more particularly described on Exhibits "A," and "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof have been submitted to the Town Clerk of the Town of Avon and referred therefrom to the Town Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, that: Section 1. Findings. The Town Clerk of the Town of Avon has referred to the Town Council two petitions for annexation of certain parcels of real property (hereinafter referred to as the "subject property," and as more specifically described in Exhibits "A" and "B," attached hereto and incorporated hereby by this reference) being two parcels of land located in Section 12, T. 5 South, Range 82 W. of the 6th P.M., Eagle County, Colorado, and the Town Council specifically finds upon review of said petitions that the petitions are in substantial compliance with the requirements of Section 31-12- 107(1), C.R.S. Section.2., Hearing. A hearing on the petitions shall be held at 5:30 P. M. on July 9, 1996, at the Council Chambers in the Avon Municipal Building, 400 Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado, to determine whether.-or not the subject-property is eligible for annexation to the Town. Section 3. Publication. This Resolution shall be published once a week for four successive weeks (five times) in The Vail Trail, a newspaper.of general circulation in Eagle County, commencing no later than May 31, 1996.
