SERIES OF 1996
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 1996 MARKET
VALUE OF LAND FOR SCHOOL LAND DEDICATION,
TOWN OF AVON, EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the Town of Avon has determined that whenever there is an annexation of
property into the Town of Avon for residential purposes, the owner of the property shall provide
land for school needs generated by the proposed residential use, and
WHEREAS, a payment of a fee in'lieu of land dedication may be determined to be more
appropriate by the Town of Avon, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 16.50 of the Municipal Code, the Town
Council must establish on an annual basis, the per acre value of raw land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of
Avon, that the 1996 market value of raw land is determined to be S 63,000 per acre for land
annexed into the Town of Avon for the purposes of determining fees in lieu of land dedication,
consistent with Ordinance No. 94-1.
