RESOLUTION NO. 95-47
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE WITHDRAWAL OF
PETITIONS FOR ANNEXATION TO THE.TOWN OF AVON
OF TWO PARCELS OF'LAND LOCATED IN SECTION 12,
TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 82 WEST OF THE 6TH
PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO,
AND SECTIONS 7, 8, 9 & 17, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH,
RANGE 81 WEST OF THE 6TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO, AND SECTIONS 8, 9, &
10, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 81 WEST OF THE
6TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, EAGLE COUNTY,
COLORADO.
WHEREAS, two petitions for annexation to the Town of
Avon of certain parcels of real property, being parcels of land
located in Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 82 West of the 6th
Principal Meridian, Eagle County, Colorado, and Sections 7, 8, 9
& 17, Township 5 South, Range 81 West of the 6th Principal
Meridian, Eagle County, Colorado, and Sections 8, 9, & 10,
Township 5 South, Range 81 West of the 6th Principal Meridian,
Eagle-County, Colorado, were heretofore submitted to the Town
Clerk of the Town of Avon and referred to the Town Council; and
WHEREAS,-at a hearing held on June 13, 1995, it was
determined by the Town Council that the property described in
those petitions was eligible for annexation to the Town; and
WHEREAS, the petitioners have now expressed their
intention to withdraw such petitions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY-THE TOWN COUNCIL`OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, that:
1. Such petitions are now treated as withdrawn.
2. The findings of the Town Council adopted on June
13, 1995, are vacated and determined to be without effect.
