A RESOLUTION CANCELLING THE ELECTION TO BE
HELD NOVEMBER 7, 1995
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 95-41, adopted August 22, 1995,
as amended by Resolution No. 95-42, adopted September 5, 1995,
the Town Clerk was authorized and directed to certify to the
County Clerk two Election Questions therein set forth, to be
voted upon at a coordinated election to be held on November 7,
1995; and
WHEREAS, the only matter before the electors is the
consideration of such ballot questions; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has now determined that such
election should be cancelled;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO:
Section 1. The election to be held on November 7, 1995 is
cancelled and the ballot questions submitted by Resolutions No.
95-41 and 95-42 shall be deemed not to have been submitted.
Section 2. The officers and employees of the Town are
hereby authorized and directed to take all action necessary or
appropriate to effectuate the provisions of this Resolution.
