RESOLUTION NO. 94 - 3
SERIES OF 1994
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A MARKET VALUE FOR LAND IN ASSOCIATION
WITH ORDINANCE NO. 94-1, SCHOOL LAND DEDICATION
WHEREAS, the Town of Avon has determined that whenever there is an annexation of
property into the Town of Avon for residential purposes, the owner of the property shall provide
land for school needs generated by the proposed residential use, and
WHEREAS, a payment of a fee in leiu of land dedication may be determined to be more
appropriate by the Town of Avon, and
WIMREAS, the Town Council must establish, on an annual basis, the per acre value of
raw land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Avon,
that the 1994 market value of raw land is determined to be $50,000 per acre for lands annexed
into the Town of Avon for purposes of determining fees in leiu of land dedication, consistent
with Ordinance No. 94 - 1.
