RESOLUTION NO. 93-34
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO CHILDREN OF
RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF AVON AND THEIR
ATTENDANCE IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS
WHEREAS, the Town'of Avon is located within the
boundaries of Eagle County School District,RE 50J; and

WHEREAS, children of residents of the Town of Avon have
been required to attend different schools of the same level in
the course of their education; and
WHEREAS, at times those children have been moved from
one school to another with frequency;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of
the Town of Avon, Colorado, that in order to support the
stability of the Avon community, the Board of Directors of the
Eagle County School District is petitioned to adopt a policy that
children attend only one school of any level in the course of
their instruction.
ADOPTED the 14th day of September, 1993, by the Town
Council of the Town of Avon, Colorado.
