SERIES OF 1992
A RESOLUTION OF ACKNOWLEDGMENT FOR THE SERVICE OF
HONORABLE DAN WILLIAMS
WHEREAS, Honorable Dan ("Danny") Williams has announced his
retirement as a member of the House of Representatives of the
State of Colorado; and
WHEREAS, Danny first served in the House of Representatives in
1985 in the Fifty-Fifth General Assembly of the State of Colorado
and has served with distinction as Representative since that year;
and
WHEREAS, prior to that Danny served as a County Commissioner
of the'County of Eagle and State of Colorado for eight years; and
WHEREAS, Danny throughout his political career has acted in
the best interest of all the residents of Eagle County;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the Town Council'of the
Town of Avon, Colorado:
1. The gratitude of the Council and residents of the Town of
Avon, Colorado, is extended to Honorable Dan Williams for his long
and loyal service to them.
2. This resolution shall be spread'at large in the minutes of
the meeting of this Council and a certified copy thereof shall be
delivered to the said Honorable Dan Williams.
