RESOLUTION NO. 87-19
SERIES OF 1987
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-23, SERIES
OF 1984, TO ALLOW WIND SURFING, BELLY BOATS AND
KAYAKS ON NOTTINGHAM LAKE
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon has
passed Ordinance No. 84-6, empowering the Town Manager to
establish rules and regulations governing the use of certain
town-owned facilities upon the concurrence and approval of
such rules and regulations by the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, II-1(h) of Resolution No. 84-23 prohibits
any kayak, inner tube, wind surfing equipment or swimming-
pool floating device; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has proposed to allow wind
surfing equipment, Belly Boats and Kayaks on Nottingham Lake;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council
of the Town of Avon that the following Section II-1(h) is
amended to read as follows:
1. II-1(h). Placing or operating on Nottingham
Lake any inner tube or swimming-pool floating
device.

OF THE TOWN OF AVON ON THE 25th DAY OF AUGUST, 1987.
