A RESOLUTION TO SET MILL LEVIES FOR 1987 BUDGET, LEVYING
GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1986, TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS
OF GOVERNMENT FOR THE TOWN OF AVON COLORADO, FOR THE 1987 BUDGET
YEAR.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon has received
the proposed budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget
Law, on September 23, 1986; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget
for general operating expenses is $310,400; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget
for Debt Service and Capital Improvements is $193,500; and
WHEREAS, the 1986 valuation for assessment for the Town of
Avon, as certified by the County Assessor, is $23,995,620.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF AVON, COLORADO:
Section 1. That for the purpose of meeting all general
operating expenses of the Town of Avon during the 1987 budget year,
there is hereby levied a tax of 13.02 mills upon each dollar of the
total valuation for assessment of all taxable property within the
Town for the year 1986.
Section 2. That for the purpose of meeting all Debt Service
and Captial Improvements of the Town of Avon during the 1987 budget
year, there is hereby levied a tax of 7.98 mills upon each dollar
of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property with-
in the Town for the year 198:6.
Section 3. That the mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Eagle County,
Colorado, the mill levies for the Town of Avon as hereinabove deter-
mined and set.

CERTIFICATION OF TAX LEVIES
TO: County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado
This is to certify that the tax levies to be assessed by you upon all property
within the limits of the Town of Avon, based on a total assessed valuation of
$23,995,620 for the year 1986 as determined and fixed by the Town Council on
October 28, 1986, are:
Debt Service and Capital Improvements 7.98 mills $ 193,500
General Operating Expenses 13.02 mills 310,400
All Other (specify) mills
TOTALS 21.0 mills $ 503,900
You are hereby authorized and directed to extend said levies upon your tax list.
