RESOLUTION NO. 86-14
SERIES OF 1986
WHEREAS, A.J. ("JIM") WELLS has tendered his
resignation as a Council Member of the Town of Avon,
Colorado, effective the 23rd day of July, 1986; and
WHEREAS, Jim has served as a Council Member since
January of 1979; and
WHEREAS, Jim has made significant and lasting
contributions to the Town as a Council Member and as a
resident of the Town and indeed may take credit for the very
existence of the Town; and
WHEREAS, Jim has been a leader of the Council and
has consistently spoken with intelligence and common sense;
and
WHEREAS, Jim is above all a good and loyal friend
whose presence on the Council will be missed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The resignation of the said A.J. WELLS -is
hereby accepted with regret and he is hereby wished the very
best of success and happiness in his future endeavors.
2. It is hereby determined and declared that
A.J. Wells, whatever his residence, shall be a citizen for
life of the Town of Avon.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of July, 1986.
