Box 975, Avon, CO 81620 (303) 949-4280 April 23, 1986 Hess Electric P.O. BOX 59 Avon, CO 81620 Attention: Terry Harris Dear Terry: At its regular meeting of April 22, 1986, the Avon Town Council approved Resolution 86-10, Series of 1986. A letter was received from Mr. Tom Backhus, who was representing Mr. Philip Barshop. Mr. Barshop is the owner of the lot on the east side of Metcalf and Nottingham Road. Mr. Barshop has requested that the trailers be located at the north end of the lot, so that they would be completely screened from the Metcalf, Nottingham Road intersection. The Council agreed and approved to modify the resolution. In condition one, it will read as follows: 1. Trailers shall be located along the northerly lot boundary. Please find attached a signed copy of Resolution No. 86-10. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Town Offices. / Sincer ly, Patricia J. Doyle n Clerk cc: Norm Wood File 0 April 22, 1986 Slifer& .Company. Mr. Norm Woods Engineer -Avon... AvonCU 81620 V Dear Norm: Since I cannot be present at the Council meeting on the evening_of April 22, I would like to express my concern over the parking of trailers on Lot 24, Block l,'through you. I do-not-believe that the.25' setback recommended by the P&Z is'enough to visually block the trailers from the corner of Nottingham Road and Metcalf Road. It is my recommendation that the trailers be aligned perpendicular-to the rear (northerly) property line of Lot 24, thus,"hiding" them behind the Wolfe Warehouse. Thank you for your consideration of this request and for taking it to the Council for me. Sincerely, Thomas A. Backhus 230 Bridge Street, Vail, CO 81657 (303) 476-2421 April 8, 1986 Town Clerk Town of Avon P.V. Box 975 Avon, CO 81620 To Whom It May Concern: I'have-asked Mr_. Tom Backhus to be my designated agent-in order to object to a requested change to allow temporary storage on Lot 24, Block 1 as per the Official Plat-Town of Avon, Eagle County, Colorado and Final Subdivision Plat-Amendment Number 4, Benchmark at Beaver Creek, Eagle County, Colorado recorded on Sept. 5th, 1978 in Book 274 at page,701. Temporary storage would create visual polution unless there was appropriate screen_:r.g. Thank you very much. Yours truly, H/y Philip M. Barshop PMB:br - - I cc: Tom Backhus PHILIP M.
