SERIES OF 1986 FEB A RESOLUTION ADOPTING DEVELOPMENT GOALS, POLICIES AND PROGRAMS
FOR THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, AS A SUPPLEMENT TO, AND FOR USE
IN CONJUNCTION WITH, THE MASTER PLAN FOR THE TOWN OF AVON
WHEREAS, the Avon Town Council has commissioned the
preparation of Development Goals, Policies and Programs for the
Town of Avon to provide guidance for the community's physical and
economic growth; and
WHEREAS, the Development Goals, Policies and Programs
for the Town of Avon', Colorado, has been prepared by planning
consultant James Franklin Lamont; and
WHEREAS, the Development Goals, Policies and Programs
for the Town of Avon, Colorado, has been reviewed throughout the
preparation process by the Avon Town Council and the Avon Planning
and Zoning Commission; and
WHEREAS, public hearings were conducted on September 19,
1985, and on September 24, 1985, to present to, and receive input
from, the citizens of the community with regard to the Development
Goals, Policies and Programs for the Town of Avon; and
WHEREAS, following previous reviews and public hearings,
the Avon Planning and Zoning Commission and the Avon Town Council
find the Development Goals, Policies and Programs for the Town of
Avon Colorado, to be a beneficial and useful document to be used
in conjunction with the Master Plan for the Town of Avon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Avon Planning and
Zoning Commission and the Avon Town Council that the Development
Goals, Policies and Programs,-&;Le those of November 1,'1985, for the
Town of Avon, Colorado, is hereby approved and adopted for use as'
a supplement to the Master Plan for the Town of Avon.
