RESOLUTION TO SET MILL LEVIES FOR 1986 BUDGET, A
RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE
YEAR 1985, TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF GOVERNMENT
FOR THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, FOR THE 1986 BUDGET
YEAR
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon has
received the proposed budget in accordance with the Local
Government Budget Law, on October 22, 1985; and
WHEREAS, The amount of money necessary to balance the
budget for general operating expenses is $304,342; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the
budget for Debt Service and Capital Improvements is $193,801;
and
WHEREAS, the 1985 valuation for assessment for the Town
of Avon as certified by the County Assessor is $23,721,110.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO:
Section 1. That the purpose of meeting all general
operating expenses of the Town of Avon during the 1986 budget
year, there is hereby levied a tax of 12.83 mills upon each dollar
of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable property
within the Town for the year 1985.
Section 2. That for the purpose of meeting all Debt
Service and Capital Improvements of the Town of Avon during the
1986 budget year, there is hereby levied a tax of 8.17 mills upon
each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all taxable
property within the Town for the year 1984.

Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to immediately certify to the County Commissioners
of Eagle County, Colorado, the mill levies for the Town of Avon
as hereinabove determined and set.

CERTIFICATION OF TAX LEVIES
TO: County Commissioners of Eagle, County, Colorado
This is to certify that the tax levies to be assessed
by you upon all property within the limits of the Town of
Avon, based on a total assessed valuation of $23,721,110 for
the year 1985 as determined and fixed by the Town Council,
On October 22, 1985 are:
