RESOLUTION NO. 84-11
SERIES OF 1984
WHEREAS, the Eagle-Vail Metropolitan District, the
Avon Metropolitan District, the Beaver Creek Metropolitan
District, the Arrowhead Metropolitan District, the Berry
Creek Metropolitan District and the Edwards Water District
contemplate the formation of an intergovernmental authority
to provide for regional water treatment in the area of the
aforesaid special districts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF AVON as follows:-
1. The Town Council supports the formation of an
intergovernmental authority for the purpose of regional
water treatment and the construction of a water treatment
facility on a portion of Tracts G and P, Benchmark at Beaver
Creek Subdivision.
2. The Town Council hereby finds and determines

that it would be in the best interests of the Town to lease
to such intergovernmental authority a portion of Tract G of
Benchmark at Beaver Creek Subdivision in connection with the
construction of such water treatment facility.
