A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH ADOPTING
PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
FOR THE TOWN OF AVON
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon is
authorized by the provisions of Section 4.9 of the Charter
of the Town of Avon to adopt such resolutions and rules as
it shall deem proper; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that it is
necessary to adopt specific rules establishing policies and
procedures to govern the relationship of the Town to its
employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, that the personnel policies
and procedures prepared by the Town Manager and dated the
25th day of October, 1983, be and the same hereby are
adopted as the rules governing the relationship of the Town
with its employees; provided, however, that such policies
and procedures shall in no manner repeal or conflict with
the provisions of the personnel merit system heretofore or
hereafter adopted by ordinance and incorporated into the
Municipal Code of the Town of Avon.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such personnel
policies and procedures shall be effective immediately and
may be referred to as the "Personnel Policies and Procedures
of the Town of Avon."
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of October, 1983, in
Avon, Eagle County, Colorado.
