RESOLUTION NO. 83-25
SERIES OF 1983
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE
TERMS FOR PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
MEMBERS
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 83-11 establishing a Planning
and Zoning Commission for the Town of Avon has been adopted; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provides for a seven member
commission with initial term for three members to be one year and
four members to be two years each; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the following individuals are appointed
to the Planning and Zoning Commission for terms as noted. All terms
shall be effective as of May 1, 1983:
Mike Blair 1 year
Jerry Davis 2 years
Tom Landauer 2 years
James Meehan 1 year
Bill Pierce 1 year
Bob Zeeb 2 years
Clint Watkins 2 years
ADOPTED this 10th day of May , 1983.

RE: Recommendation for Planning & Zoning Commission member vacancy..
The Planning & Zoning Commission held a special meeting Wednesday,
May 4, 1983, to interview candidates for the opening on the P & Z.
The following eight persons submitted statements of interest:
(1) Clinton Watkins
(2) Roy Amedee
(3) Al Alpi
(4) Mark Donaldson
(5) Bill Doyle
(6) Richard Larson
(7) Robert West
(8) Thomas Backus
Based on the interviews, the existing P & Z members unanimously
recommended that the Town Council appoint Thomas Backus as the
seventh P•-& Z member.
