SERIES OF 1982
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1983 GENERAL FUND, RECREATIONAL
MENITIES, AND PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon,
Colorado has approved the 1983 Budget, and;
WHEREAS, the'Town Council has deleted all utilities
from the Town of Avon, sales tax ordinance-and thereby
reducing General Fund Revenues by'$60,000, and;
WHEREAS, the Town Council has.directed the following
budget.expenditures.reductions in the General Fund, Town
Council $1,000, Town Attorney $1,000, Town Administrator
$500; Planning Department $19,600, Parks $2,000, and
contingency $25,000 (total $49,100), and;
WHEREAS, the Town Council has approved the
purchase and operation of an additional bus at an estimated
annual cost of $40,000, and;
WHEREAS, the Town Council has provided for the
funding of the additional bus by directing the following
expenditures be reduced: Public Works Project Fund, Avon
Road $18,718; Tennis Courts $4,000; Recreational Amenities
Fund, $7,500:Softball Field, $14,500 Lighting,Bike Paths;
$2,000 Soccer Field Net, (total $46,718).
NOW, THEREFORE,'be it resolved,by the Town
Council of the Town of Avon, Colorado, that:

That the following sums are hereby amended to
the 1983 General Fund Budget:

SECTION 4
That the Town Manager and Finance Director are
hereby authorized to amend the 1983 Budget accordingly.
