PROCEEDINGS OF THE TOWN COUNCIL,
TOWN OF AVON,
COUNTY OF EAGLE AND STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION #,80-17
WHEREAS; on 'the 14th day of October, 1980, the Town
Council of the Town of Avon did receive and consider the applica-
tion of City Market, Inc., Joseph C.'Prinster, President; Leo T.
Prinster, Vice President; Eugene F. Haggerty, Secretary-Treasurer;
and Bernard W. Berg, Manager, Grand Junction, Colorado, has,
pursuant to,Colorado Statutes, made application to-,the-Avon Town
Council ,'acting as the Avon Liquor Licensing Authority for a 3.2%
Beer Fermented'Malt Beverage License on premises,located at 0260
Beaver Creek Place, Town of Avon, County of Eagle and State of
Colorado.
AND WHEREAS, the Council finds that Notice of Applica-
tion was published in the Vail Trail and proof of publication by_
the publisher of the Vail Trail was received and made a part of'
the record;
AND WHEREAS,-the Council finds that the application was
in proper form and accompanied by the necessary supplementary
evidentiary matter required by law, the regulations of-the State
of Colorado and the Town Council;
AND WHEREAS, witnesses on behalf of the applicant were
duly sworn and evidence taken in behalf of the application;
AND WHEREAS, there were no protests filed opposing the
granting of the application;
AND.WHEREAS, the Council and the individual members
thereof have examined the premises to be licensed;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD DOTH FIND:
That the officers and manager of the applicant are of
good character and it is the finding-of the Council that they are
qualified and able to operate said business;
That the neighborhood to be served by the applicagt`-can.
best be described as the entire Town of'Avon;
That there does exist a reasonable requirement in the
neighborhood for the type of license for which application is made
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED BY.THE COUNCIL: That said
application be granted subject to the approval of the Stateo6f
Colorado Licensing Authority.
