RESOLUTION NO. 25
SERIES OF 1979
A RESOLUTION MAKING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS
FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE TOWN OF AVON; MAKING
A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE NOTTINGHAM
PARK DEVELOPMENT FUND; AND AUTHORIZING THE EX-
PENDITURE OF SAID SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS AS
SET FORTH HEREIN.
WHEREAS, the need for certain additional
expenditures which may be classified as nonforseeable
contingencies has arisen since the date of the in-
itial preparation and passage of the 1979 Budget for
the Town of Avon; and
WHEREAS, an additional need for certain
additional expenditures which may be classified
as nonforseeable contingencies has arisen since
the date of the supplemental appropriation to
the 1979 Budget for the Town of Avon; and
WHEREAS, the Town has received certain
additional revenue not considered in either the
1979 Budget for the Town of Avon or in the only
supplemental appropriation thereto made to date;

WHEREAS, the Mayor has certified and hereby
does certify to the Town Council that sufficient
funds are available in excess of those estimated
in the Budget to discharge the appropriations
referred to herein, pursuant to Section 12.10 (a)
of the Charter for the Town of Avon, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that it should
make supplemental appropriations from the General
Fund and from the Nottingham Park Development Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Supplemental Appropriation - General
Fund - Amount - Authorization of Expenditure
The Town Council hereby makes a supplemental
appropriation in the sum of $43,000 from the General
Fund of the Town of Avon, Colorado, and authorizes
the expenditure of that appropriation as follows:
Town Administration $ 8,000
General Administrative
Support 10,000
Subdivision Engineering
Fees 14,000
Police 9,000
Roads and Landscaping 2,000
TOTAL $43,000

Section 2. Supplemental Appropriation -
Nottingham Park Development Fund - Amount -
Authorization of Expenditures
The Town Council hereby makes a supplemental
appropriation in the sum of $35,000 from the
Nottingham Park Development Fund of the Town of
Avon, Colorado, the expenditure of which is also
specifically hereby authorized.
Section 3. Further Authorization
The Town Council hereby ratifies and
authorizes:
A. The negotiation of any contract or
other instrument necessary to carry out the pur-
poses for which funds are herein appropriated.
B. The expenditure of the funds which are
hereby supplementally,-.-appropriated..
Section 4. Amendment To 1979 Annual
Appropriation Ordinance
Upon its passage, this Resolution shall be
an amendment to the 1979 Annual Appropriation
Ordinance, Number 5, Series of 1979, of the Town
of Avon, Colorado.
