:. REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION
ECTION 6.04.060 OF THE AVON MUNICIPAL
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TO \N N COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF AVON, COLORADO THAT:
Section 6.04.020 of the Avon Municipal Code is hereby repealed and reenacted
with the following definitions added:
"Constrdction Site"' means any lot, parcel or tract of land on which, according to the
Avon Municipal Code, work is being performed by person(s) required to register as a
Contractor with the "Town.
"Secure Animal Enclosure" means a structure which is suitable to prevent the
escape of an animal and has a top, bottom and all sides, which shall not be construed
to mean the open bed of a truck.
Section 6.04.060 of the Avon Municipal Code is hereby repealed and reenacted with
the following addition:
K. It is unlawful to allow a dog to enter or remain on. a construction site unless it
is restrained by a leash, chain or cable of no more than ten feet in length, or it is
contained in a secure animal enclosure.
INTRODUCED, PASSED ON FIRST READING, APPROVED AND
ORDERED POSTED, this 25th day of June, 1996, and a public hearing shall, be held at
the regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Avon, Colorado on the day
of July, 1996, at 5:30 P.M. in the Municipal Building of the Town of Avon, Colorado.
