REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION
TITLE 10 OF THE AVON MUNICIPAL

Code of the Town -0 on is hereby repealed and reenacted to read
as follows:
10.04.060 Decreased and Increased speed limits. In
accordance with the provisions of sections 1101 and 1102 of the
Model Traffic Code, and when official signs are erected giving
notice thereof, the speed limit for specified intersections or
approaches thereto and upon streets or portions thereof shall be
designated in resolutions duly adopted by the.Avon Town Council,
Section 2. Penalty. It is unlawful for any person to
violate any provision of, or to fail to comply with any of the
requirements of, this Ordinance. Any person who violates any
provision of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not
more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for a period of
not more than one hundred eighty days or by both such fine and
imprisonment; provided, no person under the age of eighteen years
shall be punished by imprisonment-.
INTRODUCED, PASSED ON FIRST READING, APPROVED AND
ORDERED POSTED, this 26th day of March, 1996, and a public
hearing shall be held at the regular meeting of the council
of the Town of Avon, Colorado on the 9th day of , 1996, at

NOW, - T'HERIEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, STATE OF COLORADO, That:
Section 1. Section 10.04.060 of the Avon Municipal
Code of the Town of Avon is hereby repealed and reenacted to read
as follows:
