ORDINANCE NO. 95 -21
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION
10.04.069 OF TITLE 10 OF THE AVON MUNICIPAL CODE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF AVON, STATE OF COLORADO, That:
Section 1. Section 10.04.069 of the Avon Municipal
Code of the Town of Avon is hereby repealed and reenacted to read
as follows:
10.04.060 Decreased and increased speed limits. In
accordance with the provisions of sections 4 -2 and 4 -3
of the Model Traffic Code, and when official signs are
erected giving notice thereof, the speed limit for
specified intersections or approaches thereto and upon
streets or portions thereof shall be as designated in
resolutions duly adopted by the Avon Town Council.
Section 2. Penalty. It is unlawful for any person to
violate any provision of, or to fail to comply with any of the
requirements of, this Ordinance. Any person who violates any
provisions of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not
more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment for a period of
not more than one hundred eighty days or by both such fine and
imprisonment; provided, no person under the age of eighteen years
shall be punished by imprisonment.
