ORDINANCE NO. 90 - 17
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION
17.24.020 (A) 10 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE
TOWN OF AVON AS IT RELATES TO THE UTILIZATION
OF RESIDENTIAL OFF STREET PARKING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
AVON, COLORADO:
Section 1. Repeal and Re-Enactment
Subsection A10 of Section 17.24.020 of Chapter 17.24 of Title 17
of the Municipal Code of the Town of Avon is amended to read as
follows:
"10. Utilization. - Except as may additionally be
provided for, the parking of trucks and other large
vehicles, accessory off street parking facilities
provided in accord with the requirements of this chapter
shall be solely for the parking of passenger motor
vehicles of patrons, occupants, visitors, or employees
of such uses.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or stand a
dump truck, truck exceeding seven thousand (_7000) pounds
empty weight, commercial trailer, semi-trailer, truck
tractor, heavy equipment, or bus, or to permit same to
be parked anywhere within the Town in the RSF, RD, RMD,
RHLD, RMHP or SPA zone districts, except where said
vehicles are being expeditiously used to render services,
such as, but not limited to, deliveries, pickups, or
construction activities, to property located within two
hundred feet of where said vehicle is parked. Tour buses
and other group transportation vehicles may be parked in
said zone districts provided such vehicles are engaged in
charter or shuttle service to and from the property.

public hearing shall be held at the regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Avon, Colorado on the 13th day of
November , 1990, at 7:30 P.M., in the
Municipal Building of the Town of Avon, Colorado.

OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, AT 7:30 P.M. ON THE 13TH DAY OF
NOVEMBER, 1990, AT THE TOWN HALL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING
THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 90-17, SERIES OF 1990:
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 17.24.020 (A)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF AVON AS IT RELATES TO THE
UTILIZATION OF RESIDENTIAL OFF STREET PARKING
A copy of said Ordinance is attached hereto, and is also on
file at the office of the Town Clerk, and may be inspected
during.regular business hours.
Following this hearing the Council may consider final passage
of this Ordinance.
This notice is given and published by order of the Town Council
of the Town of Avon, Colorado.
