AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING DOGS IN TRACT G, BENCHMARK
AT BEAVER CREEK, BENCHMARK AT BEAVER CREEK SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Avon finds
that dogs within Nottingham Park during Special Events create
a public nuisance and additional risk to participants and
spectators of these events.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 8.24.051 of the Town Municipal Code shall
be and is hereby added to and ammended to read as follows:
8.24.051 Permitting Dogs at Nottingham Lake. The
permitting of a dog to be within the following described portion
of Tract G, Benchmark at Beaver Creek Subdivision within the
Town of Avon:
1. That area enclosed by the inside edge of the
outermost bike path immediately surrounding
Nottingham Lake; and
2. That area within twenty feet of either side of the
uncovered portion of Buck Creek and the uncovered
of Metcalf Ditch; and
3. That Tract G,(also known at Nottingham Park) in its
entirety during Special Events shall.be deemed a
public nuisance and a violation of this Code.
INTRODUCED, PASSED ON FIRST READING, APPROVED AND ORDERED
POSTED, this 13th day of December , 1988, and a public
hearing on the ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of the
Town Council of the Town of Avon,. Colorado,. on the 27th day of
December, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building of the Town of
Avon, Colorado.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN OF A PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO AT 7:30 P.M. ON THE 27TH DAY OF
DECEMBER, 1988, AT THE TOWN HALL FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING
THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE N0. 88-19, SERIES OF 1988:
AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING DOGS IN TRACT G, BENCHMARK AT BEAVER
CREEK, BENCHMARK AT BEAVER CREEK SUBDIVISION
a copy of said ordinance is attached hereto, and is also on file
at the office of the Town Clerk, and may be inspected during
regular business hours.
Following this hearing the Council may consider final passage
of this ordinance.
This notice is given and published by order of the Town Council
of the Town of Avon, Colorado.
