TOWN OF AVON
ORDINANCE NO. 87-17
SERIES OF 1987
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN
OF AVON TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE REAL ESTATE
TRANSFER TAX
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
AVON, COLORADO:
1. Amendment. Paragraph B of Section 3.12.050,
Chapter 3.12, Title 3, Municipal Code of the Town of Avon,
is amended to read as follows:
"B. On and after November 1, 1987, where five
hundred dollars or more, the real
property transfer tax shall be two
percent of the consideration."
INTRODUCED, PASSED ON FIRST READING, APPROVED AND ORDERED POSTED
this 14th day of July , 1987 and a public hearing on this
Ordinance shall be held at the regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Avon, Colorado, on the 28th day of July
1987 at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building g of the Town of Avon,
Colorado.

COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AVON,C-OLORADO, AT 7:30 P.M. ON THE
28TH DAY OF JULY, 1987, AT THE TOWN HALL FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSIDERING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 87-17, SERIES
OF 1987:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE TOWN OF AVON
TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX
A copy of said Ordinance is attached hereto, and is also on
file at the office of the Town Clerk, and may be inspected
during regular business hours.
Following this hearing the Council may consider final passage
of the Ordinance.
This notice is given and published by order of the Town Council
of the Town of Avon.
