AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE-MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE TOWN OF AVON AS IT PER-
TAINS TO FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
AVON, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. Section 17.44.040, Chapter
17.44, Title 17 of the Municipal Code of,the Town of Avon is
amended to read as follows:

Section 2. Emergency. The Town Council finds and
determines that an emergency exists in that there is a clear
and present danger of flooding within the Town and this
ordinance shall therefore be effective-as an emergency,
