ORDINANCE NO.#82-5-

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE CHAPTER
2.16 OF THE TOWN CODE OF THE TOWN OF AVON
AS IT PERTAINS TO REMOVAL OF MEMBERS OF-THE
DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
AVON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amendment.
Section 2.16.040 of Chapter 2.16 of the Town Code of
the Town of Avon is amended to read as follows:
"2.16.040 Vacancies. A vacancy on the design review
board shall occur whenever a member of the board is removed
by the town council, dies, becomes incapacitated and unable
to perform his duties for a period of ninety days, resigns,-
ceases to be a resident of the community as appropriately
required, or is convicted of a felony. A member of the
board may be-removed for misconduct including but not
limited to repeated absence from meetings and violation of
the town's conflict of interest guidelines. In the event,a
vacancy occurs, the town council shall appoint a successor
to fill the vacancy and-serve the remainder of the term of
the former member."

OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, AT 7:30 P.M.'ON THE 9TH DAY OF.
MARCH, 1982 AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 400 BENCHMARK ROAD, AVON,
COLORADO FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
NO.#82-5, SERIES OF 1982:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING.ORDINANCE CHAPTER 2.16'OF THE TOWN,CODE OF
THE TOWN OF AVON AS IT PERTAINS TO REMOVAL OF MEMBERS OF THE DESIGN
REVIEW BOARD
A"copy of said ordinance is attached hereto and is also on file
at the office of the Town Clerk and may be inspected during regular
business hours.
Following this hearing, the Council may consider final passage of the
Ordinance.
