AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF AVON, COLORADO, CHANGING THE FISCAL
YEAR OF THE TOWN
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AVON,
COLORADO:
Section 1. Change in Fiscal Year.- Pursuant to Section 12.1
of Chapter XII of the Charter of the Town of Avon, Colorado, and in
conformance with the Local Government Budget Law of Colorado, the
fiscal year of the Town of Avon, and all of its agencies, shall
begin on the first day of January, and end on the last day of
December of each year.
Introduced as a proposed ordinance at a regular meeting of
the Town Council of the Town of Avon on the 15th day of August,
1978, passed by a vote of 7 for and 0 against; and ordered published
by posting in accordance with the Charter of the Town of Avon on
the 15th day of August, 1978.
Public hearing on this ordinance to take place on the 22nd
day of August, 1978, in the meeting place of the Town Council at
2nd floor, Benchmark Shopping Center.
Passed on final reading, following public hearing by a vote
of for and against, on the 2 Z'~Oday of
1978, and ordered published by reference only by posting pursuant
to the publication procedure of the Charter of the Town of Avon,
on the day of AL 1978.
