MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
HELD NOVEMBER 9, 1999
A regular meeting of the Town of Avon, Colorado was held in the Municipal Building,
400 Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado in the Council Chambers.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Judy Yoder at 5:30 PM. A roll call was taken
with Councilors Debbie Buckley, Mac McDevitt, Buz Reynolds, and Mayor Protem Bob
McIlveen present. Councilors Jim Benson and Rick Cuny were absent. Also present were
Town Manager Bill Efting, Town Attorney Burt Levin, Assistant Town Manager Larry
Brooks, Town Clerk Kris Nash, Recreation Director Meryl Jacobs, Police Chief Jeff
Layman, Community Development Director Mike Matzko, Transportation Director Harry
Taylor, Town Engineer Norm Wood, Fire Chief Charlie Moore, Finance Director Scott
Wright as well as members of the press and public.
Citizen Input:
Public Hearing on Town of Avon Budget for Year 2000.
Mayor Yoder stated this is a public hearing.
There being no one wishing to comment, Mayor Yoder closed the public hearing.
Resolutions:
Resolution No. 99-48, Series of 1999, A Resolution Approving the Amended
Condominium Map and Resubdivision of Lots A and B, Avon Center at Beaver Creek, A
Resubdivision of Lots 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53 & 54, Block 2, Benchmark at Beaver
Creek, Amendment No. 4, Town of Avon, Eagle County, Colorado
Mayor Yoder stated this is a public hearing.
Town Engineer Norm Wood stated the purpose of this resolution is to clean up the
original plat for the Avon Center Condominium Map and the adjoining Lot B in order to
allow construction of the proposed development on Lot B. Staff recommends approval.
There being no one wishing to comment, Mayor Yoder closed the public hearing.
Councilor Reynolds motioned approval of Resolution No. 99-48, Series of 1999. Mayor
Protem McIlveen seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.

Resolution No. 99-52, Series of 1999, A Resolution Authorizing the Town of Avon to
Enter into a Contract with Avon Ranch Co. to Purchase Lot 2, Eaglewood Subdivision,
Avon, Colorado
Councilor Buckley motioned approval of Resolution No. 99-52, Series of 1999.
Councilor Reynolds seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Town Manager Report:
Town Manager Efting stated he will be gone November 15-19, 1999.

Mayor Protem McIlveen motioned approval of the Consent Agenda. Councilor Reynolds
seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilor McDevitt
motioned to adjourn. Councilor Reynolds seconded the motion. The motion carried
unanimously and the meeting adjourned at 5:34 p.m.
