TC Minutes 06-28-1985MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE AVON TOWN COUNCIL
HELD JUNE 28, 1985 - 8:00 A.M.
A Special Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Avon,
Colorado, was held in the Municipal Building, 400 Benchmark Road,
Avon, Colorado, in the Council Chambers.
The meeting was called to order, by Mayor Allan Nottingham, at
8:05 a.m. A roll call was taken with Clint Watkins, Steve Miller,
Sheila Davis, A.J. Wells, and Al Connell present. Don Buick was
absent. Also present were Town Manager Bill James and Town Clerk
Pat Doyle.
The Sunroad Group, Ltd., litigation was discussed.
The Council and the Town Manager discussed the Water Treatment
Plant proposed for Tract P. He stated that he needed
clarification as to whether or not the Town intended to build on
top of the plant.
After discussion, A.J. Wells moved that the Town of Avon would not
build over the Administration portion of the Water Treatment Plant.
The motion was seconded by Steve Miller and was unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council, A.J.
Wells moved to adjourn. Al Connell seconded the motion. The
meeting was adjourned, by Mayor Allan Nottingham, at 8:35 a.m.
