Three agenda items were tabled by the Councilmembers. These included: 1) Emergency
Ordinance, amending Ordinance No. 79-2; 2) Resolution No. 79-9, amendment to the
Design Review Board Procedures, Rules and Regulations; and 3.) Parks and Recreation
Agreements. These items were rescheduled for a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 19
at 7:30 P.M.
In other business, the Council appointed the Judges and Clerks for the upcoming
referendum election to be held on Tuesday, July 10, 1979. Those appointed were:
Alice Knipe, Judge; Lori Erickson, Judge; Jeri Sortland, Judge; Hugh Price, Clerk;
Celeste Quinn, Clerk; Mary Crawford, Alternate Judge; Jim Colburn, Alternate Judge;
Larry Goad, Alternate Judge; Linda Harris, Alternate Clerk; and Shelia Davis,
Alternate Clerk.
A continuation of the second reading of Ordinance No. 79-9, Subdivision Regulations
was held. The Council discussed the Ordinance, in detail, from page 12 to page
21. Again, changes were made in definitions and grammatical, typographical and
spelling erros were corrected. The Council then agreed to continue the second
reading of Ordinance 79-9, at a Special Meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 21
at 2:00 P.M.
There being no further business, Steve Erickson moved that the meeting be adjourned;
seconded by Richard Casserley and adjourned by the Mayor at 11:40 P.M.
