THE AVON TOWN COUNCIL MEETS ON THE SECOND AND FOURTH TUESDAYS OF EVERY MONTH
2:15 PM – 2:45 PM 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION pursuant to C.R.S. §24-6-402(4)(b), for the purpose of
receiving legal advice from the Town Attorney on specific legal questions and
pursuant to C.R.S. §24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of determining negotiating
positions and instructing negotiators related to Stone Creek Charter School’s
request to extend their lease and potential construction staging area on
property owned by Traer Creek RP, LLC, and pursuant to C.R.S. §24-6-
402(4)(b), for the purpose of receiving legal advice from the Town Attorney
on specific legal questions and pursuant to C.R.S. §24-6-402(4)(e) for the
purpose of determining negotiating positions and instructing negotiators
related to pending issues with the Village at Avon and pending litigation with
Traer Creek Metropolitan District.

Director Administrative Services) Review history of funding community organizations
and discuss proposed program for 2010 budget cycle
3:15 PM – 4:00 PM 4. REPEAT DUI OFFENDERS – NO REFUSAL PROGRAM (Brian Kozak, Police Chief)
Review proposed program that results in activity for blood draws on DUI’s that were
executed as the result of warrants
4:00 PM – 5:30 PM 5. AVON WALKABLE COMMUNITY PROJECT (Becky Lawlor, Community Relations
Officer, Jenny Strehler, Director PW&T) Review transit and trails information as well
as the recent positive survey results for consideration of placing funding question on
the November 2009 ballot which would address funding transit and trails in Avon;
Includes legislative calendar, sample project list, and financial modeling results
