NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A TOWN OF AVON COMMUNITY MEETING WILL
BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2007 AT THE PARK LOCATED ON O-NEAL
SPUR ROAD AND OLD TRAIL ROAD IN WILDRIDGE, AVON, COLORADO
BEGINNING AT 6:30 PM. THE FOLLOWING TOPICS WILL BE PRESENTED:
POLICE:
• Final preparations for the National Night Out neighborhood party on August 7,
2007
• Feedback on important neighborhood issues and a report on how the Police
Department addressed the important issues from last year.
• A brief synopsis of crimes and calls for service in Wildridge.
• Feedback on the service provided by Eagle County Animal Services.
• Solicit possible volunteers for the Town of Avon and evaluate any possible
desires to start a neighborhood watch program.
• Remind citizens to complete the Police Satisfaction Surveys.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT / ENGINEERING
Update on Wildridge Road West pedestrian lane
Solicit input re: constructing additional trails and trailheads
Discuss recent court ruling upholding short term rental ordinance
PUBLIC WORKS:
Present two preliminary design options for a dog park in O'Neil Spur Park,
including budgetary cost estimates, and obtain citizen input on the proposed
project.
Update citizens on Metcalf Road beautification efforts
Discuss mass transit service plans

OPEN HOUSE MEETING.
