AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.44.040 OF THE AVON MUNICIPAL CODE TO
REFERENCE THE AUGUST 19,1987 FLOOD INSURANCE RATE MAP (FIRM)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF AVON
COLORADO THAT:
Section 17.44.040 of the Avon Municipal Code is hereby repealed and reenacted of the
following:
The Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for unincorporated Eagle County dated August
19, 1987, serves as the basis for the ordinance codified in this Chapter and is adopted by
reference. The FIRM is on file with the Town Clerk, Avon Municipal Building, 400
Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado
