MINUTES OF THE LOCAL LIQUOR LICENSING AUTHORITY MEETING
HELD JUNE 10, 2008
The Avon Town Council acting as the Local Liquor Licensing Authority for the Town of Avon,
Colorado convened at 5:20 PM at the Avon Municipal Building, 400 Benchmark Road, Avon,
Colorado. A roll call was taken and Board members of the Authority present were Ron Wolfe as
Chairperson, and Board members Rich Carroll, Kristi Ferraro, Amy Phillips, Brian Sipes and
Dave Dantas. Tamra Underwood was absent.
PUBLIC HEARING ON NEW HOTEL AND RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE
a. Applicant: Iguanas Frogs, LLC
Address: 134 Benchmark Road
Manager: Jose Castaneda
Type: Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License
The Deputy Town Clerk passed out a fax from Jose Castaneda which stated that he
was withdrawing his application at this time due to the fact that he did not know he
needed to be a legal resident to apply for his liquor license.
New Business
a. Outback Steakhouse - New Manager Introduction: Derin Jones
Derin Jones the new manager at Outback Steakhouse did not attend this meeting.
Board member Sipes moved to approve the consent agenda (Minutes from May 27, 2008);
Board member Phillips seconded the motion and it passed unanimously by those present
(Underwood absent).
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at 5:30 PM.
