Title 17, section 17.48.040 of the Town of Avon Municipal Code, Criteria for review,
recommendation, and approval of special review uses is included below for your review.
• Whether the proposed use otherwise complies with all requirements imposed by the zoning
code;
• Whether the proposed use is in conformance with the town Comprehensive Plan;
• Whether the proposed use is compatible with adjacent uses. Such compatibility may be
expressed appearance, architectural scale and features, site design, and odor, lighting, traffic,
safety, etc. (Ord. 91-10
Staff Comments
The proposed uses are most suited to the IC zone district. The clinic's current location in the SC
district (next door to Wal-Mart) is not a viable location.
