RECOMMENDED ACTION
Deny the proposed siding based on non-compliance with the existing character established
in Wildridge.
INTRODUCTION:
This project received Final Design Review approval on March 21, 1995, with the
condition that the siding be brought back for review and approval. The applicant, Jeff
Cohen, has submitted a sample of the siding for review and approval.
STAFF COMMENTS:
The proposed siding does not fit with the established character of Wildridge. The majority
of the projects in Wildridge utilize high quality siding and suggest this project follow the
same pattern.
DESIGN REVIEW CONSIDERATIONS:
The Commission shall consider the following items in reviewing this request:
1. Conformance with the Zoning Code and other applicable regulations of the
Town.
2. The suitability of the improvement, including type and quality of materials of
which it is to be constructed and the site upon which it is to be located.
3. The compatibility of the design to minimize site impacts to adjacent properties.
4. The compatibility of the proposed improvements with site topography.
5. The visual appearance of any proposed improvement as viewed from adjacent
and neighboring properties and public ways.
6. The objective that no improvement be so similar or dissimilar to others in the
vicinity that values, monetary or aesthetic will be impaired.
