Commissioner Morrison asked about the intent of the amendment as to the type of vents it was addressing. Commissioner Sipes said he thought the amendment should be speaking to heating vents rather than plumbing vents. Chairman Evans stated possibly Item #4 should read "all roof vents eight inches diameter or greater shall be included on the plans ". Planner Griffith stated she believed Assistant Director Borne wants everything on the rooftop screened. Chairman Evans asked if that included 2" plumbing pipes. Chairman Evans stated Ms. Borne indicated to him, it would be simply fireplace and furnace vents only eight inches or greater on rooftops. Commissioner Sipes said Bachelor Gulch or Beaver Creek has every pipe screened; but we are not them. Commissioner Sipes asked if we are telling people what kind of screen to use. Planner Griffith said no. Commissioner Sipes asked what recourse we have with the type of screens being used.
