85-08-13MINUTES OF THE LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY
HELD AUGUST 13, 1985 – 7:30 P.M.
The Avon Town Councilmembers acting as the Local Licensing Authority for the Town of Avon, Colorado, convened
at 7:40 p.m. in the Avon Municipal Council Chambers, 400 Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado. Members of the Authority present were: Clint Watkins, Steve Miller, Sheila Davis, Chairman Allen
Nottingham, A.J. Wells, Al Connell and Don Buick. Also present were Town Attorney John Dunn, Town Manager Bill James, as well as members of the application.

The first item on
the agenda was a Special Event Permit for the Western Vail Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event was the upcoming Fall Fling, which was scheduled for September 1st and 2nd, 1985, in
Nottingham Park. The Town Clerk stated that the application was submitted and the fees were paid. The application was accompanied with all the appropriate documents. The Town Attorney
stated the application was in order. Boardmember Davis moved approval of the Special Event Permit for the Western Vail Valley Chamber of Commerce for September 1st and 2nd, 1985. The
motion was seconded by Boardmember Miller and was unanimously carried.

The minutes of the July 23, 1985 Local Licensing Authority hearing was next presented to the Board.
Boardmember Buick moved approval of the minutes of the July 23rd hearing. The motion was seconded by Boardmember Connell and was unanimously carried.

There being no further
business to come before the Board, Boardmember Buick moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Boardmember Watkins and was carried with Boardmember Miller abstaining due to his absence
from that meeting. The hearing was adjourned by Chairman Nottingham at 7:42p.m.
