85-07-23MINUTES OF THE LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY
HELD JULY 23, 1985 – 7:30 P.M.
The Avon Town Councilmembers acting as the Local Licensing Authority for the Town of Avon, Colorado, convened
at 7:31 p.m. in the Avon Municipal Council Chambers, 400 Benchmark Road, Avon, Colorado. Members of the Authority present were: Clint Watkins, Sheila Davis, A.J. Wells, Al Connell and
Don Buick. Boardmember Steve Miller was absent. Also present were Town Attorney John Dunn, Town Manager Bill James, as well as members of the application.

The first item on
the agenda was a Special Event Permit for the Western Vail Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event was the upcoming Balloon, Bluegrass Festival which would occur on August 17, 18, 1985
in Nottingham Park.
The Town Clerk stated that the application was submitted and the fees were paid. The application was accompanied with all the appropriate documents. The Town Attorney
stated that he has reviewed the application and it appeared to be in order. Boardmember Clint Watkins moved approval of the Special Event Permit for the Western Vail Valley Chamber
of Commerce. The motion was seconded by Boardmember Sheila Davis and unanimously carried.

The minutes of the July 9, 1985 Local Licensing Authority hearing was next presented
to the Board. Boardmember Davis moved approval of the minutes of the July 9th hearing. The motion was seconded by Boardmember Watkins and unanimously carried.

There being no
further business to come before the Board, Boardmember Buick moved to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Boardmember Connell. The hearing was adjourned by Chairman Nottingham at 7:38p.m.
