SERIES OF 1983
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1983 CAPITAL PROJECTS'BUDGET
WHEREAS., the Town Council has authorized.various'Capital
Improvements for the-Town-of-Avon; and
WHEREAS; the Town of Avon has issued'$500,000 General
Obligation Bonds for said improvements;-.,'arid
WHEREAS, the Bond proceeds have to be accounted for
separately in .a separate fund known as the"Capital Projects
Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has adopted the following
project;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of
the Town of Avon, Avon, Colorado, as follows:

Electrical Service (Sign & Irrigation) 6,800.00
Boulders, Cobble & Grading at Sign 4,500.00
Exterior Lighting for Sign 750.00
Total Estimated Construction Cost $30,907.10
Planting costs are unit costs per Avon Road Landscaping Contract with
Clarke & Younger Landscape Contractors. Benchmark Sign costs are per
agreement with Gordon Sign Company. Remaining costs are subject to
final design and negotiation of actual construction cost.
I recommend taking informal proposals from local contractors for
electrical service installation and negotiate remaining work with
Clarke & Younger, assuming a satisfactory agreement can be arrived at.
